Learn, Grow, Harvest, and...
Celebrate it all!
August seems to co-exist between delight and misery. If your garden is anything like mine, tomato plants have fallen over, weeds have taken over spots, a few plants called it quits and or been munched to stubs. But, there’s still produce to pick, flowers to enjoy, pollinators buzzing, and most likely a surprise or two making you smile. Gardening is never perfect; and very rarely the same year to year.
🌻Garden Tip of the Month🌻
Most of us (and our gardens) are hot, tired and maybe a bit messy at this point. Congratulations! The effort you’ve put in is what has created those fun harvests of veggies, fruits and flowers for the table. Make sure to celebrate how you got here!
Take notes and pictures of what worked well and what you’d like to change for next year. It can be easy to get stuck in the loop of grow & harvest. Purposefully creating time to reflect and learn as well as recognizing the wins can open up new possibilities and priorities for you.
