Freedom in the Garden
It’s your garden and you can do what you want to (mostly)
If there’s something in your yard that you don’t like, you can change it. Cut the branch that whacks you in the face every time you walk by. Rip out the day lilies. Bump the edge of your garden bed out another foot to fit more plants or get a bit more sun. If you need permission, I hereby grant you the ability to take back your outdoor space.
💧Garden Tip of the Month💧
Use terra cotta spikesin pots to help supply the right amount of water to your plants throughout the season. These porous spikes paired with inverted large bottles of water are great helpers during vacations, hot days or busy times when the pots get neglected. The roots of the plants will take in water as they need it without sitting in too much water or drying out too much. The water releases into the soil as it gets too dry.

“Huge thanks to Alyson for the gardening coaching. It was such an educational experience, but never felt like a 'lesson'--it was engaging and genuinely enjoyable. She has a talent for making complex gardening concepts feel simple and practical. We're so happy with the results!”
